Intruder demands money from elderly woman in Edenderry

The victim, who is in her early 80s, was uninjured during the incident.

GARDAÍ IN EDENDERRY have appealed for information about an aggravated burglary in Edenderry on Tuesday evening.

A lone male entered the home of an elderly woman in Clonmore at about 7.15pm. He threatened his victim and demanded money.

He appeared unarmed and the woman was uninjured in the incident.

An appeal for witnesses has been made and anyone who may have seen activity in the area between 6pm and 9pm on 5 November is asked to contact gardaí at 046 973 1290.
