GARDAÍ IN EDENDERRY have appealed for information about an aggravated burglary in Edenderry on Tuesday evening.
A lone male entered the home of an elderly woman in Clonmore at about 7.15pm. He threatened his victim and demanded money.
He appeared unarmed and the woman was uninjured in the incident.
An appeal for witnesses has been made and anyone who may have seen activity in the area between 6pm and 9pm on 5 November is asked to contact gardaí at 046 973 1290.

@Jimmy , there are plenty of skangers around the country with numerous convictions. Ive no interest in the background of the individual but anyone with 5 to 10 violent convictions against normal people either they should be broken up for parts or detained in wooden huts on the dampest offshore island there is, for life.

Not a nice thing to happen especially to an elderly person. My home was broken into a few weeks ago. They luck I was not there are there would have been another Padraig Nally incident……it’s only a matter of time before someone does shot an intruder again.
