Too early for George and Andrew? Wham - Last Christmas

The Burning Question*: When is it okay to start playing Christmas music?

Let TheJournal.ie distract you from the ‘serious’ news with one of life’s REAL dilemmas. (*not really)

CHRISTMAS FM IS back on the air this morning, playing back-to-back festive tunes – all in the name of charity.

And whether you like or loathe Christmas songs, there’ll be no escaping them between now and 26 December.

While most regular radio stations have an unwritten rule about playing Band Aid, White Christmas et al before the start of December – already, the bells are ringing and sleigh bells dinging around the country’s shopping centres.

So what do you reckon? Is today too early for your annual dose of Wham, McCartney and the Pogues?

Could you do without hearing them altogether?
