Poll: Do you use Bus Éireann?

The company is facing insolvency.

BUS ÉIREANN IS said to be 18 months away from becoming insolvent.

Last month, Transport Minister Shane Ross said the semi-state company could be insolvent within two years.

However, RTÉ News is now reporting that Bus Éireann “has just 18 months to avoid financial disaster”. The company had losses of €5.6 million in 2015 and made similar losses last year.
