Poll: Would you support a strike by bus drivers this May?

If the strike goes ahead on 1 May, it is likely to cause significant disruption.

THE NATIONAL BUS and Rail Union (NBRU) has threatened to carry out industrial action on the Friday of the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The dispute is over a plan for 10% of routes operated by Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann to go out to tender.

The union state that the workers have serious concerns about their job security and quality of employment.

If the strike goes ahead on 1 May, it is likely to cause significant disruption.
