Poll: Do you give money to buskers?

Galway city council are looking at new laws to restrict the performances of buskers.

BUSKERS IN GALWAY are furious at new plans by the city council that they say would severely limit their ability to earn a living.

The new set of bye-laws, which are out to public consultation, include that a performer would only be able to stay in one space for two hours and must immediately stop performing if a crowd that stops the movement of pedestrians gathers.

So in today’s poll we’re asking, do you give money to buskers?

Poll Results:

Yes  (3482)
Rarely (2989)
No  (2856)
