There was a camel just strolling around Limerick today for... reasons

Nothing to see here.

IT’T NOT EVERYDAY you see a camel wandering around.

Especially in Castletroy, Co. Limerick.

Earlier today, however, one was spotted strolling around a car park like it owned the place by a SPIN South West listener.

“Just heading to the shops.”

A source tells us that a circus is due to come to Castletroy in the coming days, so presumably that’s where the camel came from.

Amazingly, this isn’t the first time camels have been let on the loose in Co. Limerick.

In 2004, The Irish Times reported that three camels named Brutus, Sheikh and Sahara went for a little wander around Limerick after they escaped from a nearby circus.
