Man found with 31 pellets of cannabis in his stomach

He was charged and will appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Parkgate Street tomorrow.

A SPANISH NATIONAL will appear in court tomorrow after he was arrested entering the country with around €6,000 worth of cannabis.

The man was stopped by Customs officials at Dublin Airport after midnight last night.

Officers believed that he had ingested a controlled substance, which was later found to be cannabis resin.

The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital and then Ballymun Garda Station, where he passed 31 pellets of the drug.

He was charged and will appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Parkgate Street tomorrow.
