So the one day of the month Stella was brought in she discovered all that. What about all the other days of the month when Stella is at a Parcel Motel facility or the Dublin mail centre or just having her belly rubbed? What’s getting through those days? Or maybe let the government import it instead. Stick a tax on it. And who knows, maybe Stella can retire and spend her days sniffing arseholes instead

@Peter Pistolé: Don’t encourage them to use Stella every day, imagine the prices then!
They should just legalise and I’ll take care of Stella in her retirement.

When can we end this madness and legalise it. So much time energy and money wasted keeping it illegal. Not too mention the people who are benefiting from it financially. Legalise and tax it prohibition never worked, and will never work.

First episode of the Dublin Hemp Museum podcast is out for anyone interested in Irish cannabis/hemp history. It looks at George Sigersons hemp pamphlet from 1866.

Well they couldn’t deliver the parcels because of the snow and they had a lot of time to go around them all. I’d say that mostly such items would make it through.

When are they going to finally realize that it does not matter?
Seized “deadly substance” will be quickly replaced and law enforcement will simply never keep up with supply. They found 10 kilograms and another tens or hundreds slipped past.
War on drugs can never be won the way they do it. Go the way Netherland did it and leave it to personal choice. Win-win situation as there is less money for criminals and more money for the state in taxes.
As far as I can see Netherland is not failed nation of stoners but quite pleasant and prosperous country.

Well done the Gardai. Keeping these evil drugs off our streets should be the No1 priority of any government.
The cannabis flooding the streets is full of dangerous toxic chemicals.

@David Sinclair: and if it was legalised and regulated and taxed! We’d all be safer and revenue would me much happier too… common sense will eventually prevail.
