GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €2.5 million after searching a property in Gormanston, Co Meath today.
Two hand grenades were also seized; the Defence Forces’ Explosive Ordnance Disposal team were called to the scene and have made the devices safe.
A male was arrested at the location and is currently detained at Ashbourne Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
The searches were carried out as part of an intelligence-led operation by the Gardaí from Ashbourne Co Meath and the Ballymun Garda Drugs Unit.
Garda investigations are continuing.

Legalize it… tax it… and educate young people about the negatives of it, and let them decide. Education or lack of it is the key to a lot of the problems faced by society today.

Whys dont they tell us what weight the cannabis was instead of the over inflated value they state if it was all sold as 5 spots ?
