Man and woman in their 50s arrested over €250,000 drugs bust

During the search of a house 110 cannabis plants were discovered.

A MAN AND a woman have been arrested after up to €250,000 worth of drugs were seized in Waterford.

The cannabis plants were found in a house at Kilnafrehan East, Dungarvan on Monday.

The search was part of on-going intelligence-led operations targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Dungarvan area.

During the search 110 cannabis plants were discovered.

A 55-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were arrested at the scene and are currently being held at Dungarvan Garda Station.
