'Stand-off' underway between families on Cappagh Road

Gardaí say there have been no injuries and no arrests.

TWO FAMILIES ARE engaged in a confrontational ‘stand-off’ on Cappagh Road in Finglas, Dublin.

The incident is taking place near a settled Travellers camp and a section of the road has been closed off.

Speaking to TheJournal.ie about the incident, a Garda spokesperson denied reports of a shooting and said that there have been no injuries and no arrests.
