IT WAS AN intense few days at the G8 summit, but as today drew to a close, our Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, seemed to have plenty to laugh about.

This candid photo was snapped as they went on a stroll before lunch with the G8 leaders at Lough Erne in Fermanagh.

Even though the leaders spent the day discussing serious topics such as the civil unrest in Syria, the visiting duo clearly had a lot to smile about.

What do you reckon they were chatting about? Tell us in the comments.
