Body of man recovered after car entered water at Courtown Harbour

No one else was injured in the incident this afternoon.

THE BODY OF a man has been recovered from the water at Courtown Harbour in Wexford this afternoon.

Gardaí said it was brought to their attention that a car went into the water in the harbour at around 1.50pm. Emergency services attended and recovered the body of a man in his 60s.

No one else was injured in the incident.

A garda spokesperson said the incident is being treated as a personal tragedy.
