Man (19) dies after car hits wall in Cork

Three teenage passengers were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick.

A 19-YEAR-OLD man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Charleville, Co Cork.

He was killed when the car he was driving collided with a wall at about 11.10pm last night.

The collision occurred on the R515, Smiths Road. Three passengers in the car, two females and one male (all aged in their late teens), were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick.

The scene of the collision was examined by garda forensic collision investigators and the road has since reopened to traffic. The coroner has been notified.
