Three young men injured - one seriously - after Kildare crash

The injuries of the 21-year-old backseat passenger are described as very serious.

THREE YOUNG MEN have been hospitalised after a serious car crash in Co Kildare.

The single car collision happened on the Kilteel Road at Old Miltown at around 10.50pm last night.

A 21-year-old backseat passenger was seriously injured and has been taken to Beaumont hospital where his injuries are described as very serious.

The driver and front seat passenger, both aged 24, were also injured and taken to Naas General Hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision Examination and diversions are in place from Cromwellstown crossroads and the junction at Oldmill, Kill.

Gardai in Naas are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 045 884300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
