Woman seriously injured in Dublin crash

A car and van collided near Lucan village last night.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are investigating a serious injury two-vehicle collision that occurred at Strawberry Beds, close to Lucan village, last night.

The incident happened at about 10.30pm. Both drivers, sole occupants, were taken to Connolly Hospital.

The female driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, is described as being seriously injured, and the male driver of the van, aged in his late 40s, has minor injuries.

The road is currently closed for a technical examination.
