Car crashes into emergency department of University Hospital Waterford

The car crashed in to the entrance yesterday evening.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after a car crashed into the doors of the emergency department of University Hospital Waterford.

The incident happened at approximately 11.45pm yesterday evening.

It is believed a 61-year-old male was driving the black Opel Zafira when it crashed in to the entrance. 

No one was injured in the crash and no one was arrested. 

Investigations are ongoing, according to the gardaí.
