Woman in her 20s killed in car crash

The driver and passenger in the other car were seriously injured.

GARDAÍ IN WEXFORD are investigating a car crash that killed a woman in her 20s.

The two car crash occurred on the N25 at Kilmacree, Wexford this afternoon at around 12.25pm.

A female driver in her 20s was seriously injured when the car she was driving collided with another car. She was taken by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The male driver and female passenger in the other car, both in their 50s, were seriously injured and taken to Wexford General Hospital.

The road was closed to facilitate a Garda forensic collision examination but has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision to contact them at Wexford Garda Station on 053-916 5200, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda station.
