Did you spot this getaway car? Coolock Gardaí are hunting for an armed gang

Raiders fled in in OY reg BMW after threatening staff with a gun at a post office in Baldoyle.

GARDAÍ ARE HUNTING for an armed gang who attempted to rob a post office in the north Dublin suburb of Baldoyle today.

It happened at around 1pm.

A number of men entered the premises and threatened staff with a gun.

However, they left without any money — and got into a waiting car, which was last seen on Station Road, further north in Portmarnock.

A 43-year-old man was also arrested in Portmarnock.

The car is believed to be a 08 OY black BMW 1 series, according to Gardaí.

Anyone who might have seen it before or after the crime is being asked to contact Coolock Station at 01 666 4200.
