Gardaí investigating a murder are trying to trace this Honda's final movements

The silver Honda Civic, partial registration 04D, is a Japanese import with distinctive alloy wheels.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of Edward Nugent are trying to trace the movements of a silver coloured Honda on 15 February.

Nugent was killed that night in a house on Harty Avenue, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.

Officers want to know where the car was between 6.30pm and 9.30pm that Sunday evening.

The car was stolen from the Kilmainham area early that evening and was later discovered, partially burnt out on Esposito Road/John McCormack Avenue junction, Walkinstown at around 9.30 pm.

The silver Honda Civic, partial registration 04D, is a Japanese import with distinctive alloy wheels.

It had ‘L’ plates on the passenger side of the front windscreen and on the driver’s side of the rear window.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who observed this car between the times mentioned above or who may have information to contact them at Crumlin Garda station on 01 6666200, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
