Three men arrested after cash box stolen from cash-in-transit van in Dublin

The cash box was recovered by gardaí a short time after the robbery.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested after cash box was stolen from a cash-in-transit van in Dublin this afternoon.

Security staff were making a delivery at a shopping centre in Raheny village on Dublin’s northside at around 4.45pm when they were approached by three men.

The men threatened the security staff before fleeing the scene with one cash box.

However all three were arrested in Coolock a short time after the robbery. The three, all in their early 30s, are being held at Clontarf garda station.

No-one was injured in the robbery and the cash box was recovered by gardaí.
