Here's the average price of a home in Castletroy in 2018

According to the latest figures from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price of a home in Castletroy is now just over €210,000, according to the latest figures from Daft.ie.

This figure has risen by 7.5 per cent in the last 12 months.

Analysis of all properties advertised in the area in the first three months of 2018 puts the average list price at €210,397. The equivalent figure a year previously was €195,718.

The average price in Castletroy is significantly higher than in most areas of Limerick city itself. However, it is lower than in some older suburbs and satellite towns.

In neighbouring Annacotty, the average asking price is €247,601. Across Adare and Patrickswell, it is €269,398. In Pallaskenry prices are similar, with the average at €212,518.

Nationwide, the current average asking price of a property is in the region of €267,000.

At the height of the Celtic Tiger boom, asking prices in Castletroy reached an all-time peak of €282,000. During the recession in 2012, they hit a low of €133,000.
