Cement truck collided with cyclist on Dublin street

Gardaí were at the scene but the road has since reopened.

A CEMENT TRUCK collided with a cyclist in Dublin city earlier this morning.

The incident occurred on Bridge Street, just off Thomas St.

Bridge Street was closed for a time but has since reopened.

The cyclist was brought to hospital and is thought to have suffered a broken foot or leg, and the incident will be treated as a non-serious injury.

Gardaí will investigate the incident.
