Central Bank of Ireland warns about unauthorised investment firm

Nelson Capital Advisors has been offering investment services to the Irish public.

THE CENTRAL BANK of Ireland has issued a warning about the investment firm Nelson Capital Advisors.

It says they have been offering investment services to the Irish public even though they are not authorised as an investment firm in Ireland.

It is a criminal offence for an investment firm to operate in Ireland unless it has an authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland.

Consumers should be aware that, if they deal with an investment firm which is not authorised, they are not eligible for compensation from the Investor Compensation Scheme.

This is the Central Bank’s list of 214 unauthorised firms.
