Two men taken to hospital after car crashes into bus stop

Gardaí could not confirm reports the car was stolen.

TWO MEN WERE TAKEN to St James’ Hospital in Dublin after a car crashed into a bus stop in Dublin yesterday evening.

The incident took place at around 6pm on Cherry Orchard Avenue in Ballyfermot.

The Garda Press Office said investigations are ongoing and it is not in a position to confirm reports the vehicle was stolen.

The men taken to the hospital were aged in their late 20s and early 30s. Their condition is not life-threatening.

Gardaí said a third man who was present did not need to be taken to hospital.

No arrests have been made.
