42-year-old man in serious condition after Dublin shooting

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the arm and chest.

A MAN IS in a serious condition in hospital after a shooting in Dublin last night.

The incident occurred at Raheen Drive in Cherry Orchard last night, shortly after 9pm.

The 42-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the arm and chest. Gardaí and paramedics attended the scene and the man was removed to St James’ Hospital.

A garda spokesperson said his condition was serious.

The scene is preserved and gardaí at Ballyfermot garda station are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 01 666 7200.
