Child entrepreneurs show the Taoiseach what they're made of

Business savvy kids impress a forum on Youth Entrepreneurship with their ideas.

A GRAPHIC DESIGN business, hand made cards, a fashion company and a stress-busting doll are just some of the businesses started by Ireland’s youngest entrepreneurs.

The savvy youth of Ireland are being celebrated today with the launch of a forum on A National Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy. The Taoiseach came face to face with some of the mini-Trumps at the opening of the forum in Dublin Castle. Speaking at the launch Enda Kenny said:

I remember hearing Chris [Horn, Chairman of the Forum] speak a couple of years ago. He said the Celtic Tiger was dead, but from its ashes would rise a Celtic Phoenix. And that is why I am keen to support the Forum this morning.

Silicon Republic reports on some of the successful businesses started by children in this country.
