Second man due in court over Prussia Street death

Earlier, a 39-year-old man appeared in court charged with the murder of Christopher Jackson whose body was found in a bag in north Dublin over the weekend.

A SECOND MAN is to appear in court tomorrow morning charged in connection with the death of a man found in a bag at a house in Dublin on Saturday.

The 35-year-old man will appear before the Dublin District Court tomorrow morning.

Earlier, a 39-year-old man named as Bernard Locke was charged with the murder of Christopher Jackson whose body was found wrapped in a plastic bag and left in a wardrobe at a house on Prussia Street in the north of the city.

Jackson had been stabbed several times and it is understood that his body had been kept at the location for a number of days.

A woman in her 40s who was also arrested in connection with Jackson’s death and has since been released from Garda custody.

A file on her is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecution.
