Here's the average price of a home in Churchtown in 2018

The latest analysis from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price of a home in Churchtown is now edging towards €590,000, according to the latest data from Daft.ie.

Analysis across all properties advertised in the area in the second quarter of 2018 puts the average list price at €586,226.

This makes the area one of the top 20 highest priced neighbourhoods in Dublin. The average price of a property here is marginally less than Donnybrook (€591,447) and slightly higher than Templeogue (€579,159).

Churchtown also has a higher average price than some of its D14 neighbours – prices in Dundrum and Rathfarnham are lower on average, also those in Clonskeagh and Goatstown are higher still. The average asking price in Goatstown is now €671,509.

Prices in Churchtown have been increasing steadily, but still have a way to go before reaching the heights they achieved during the Celtic Tiger. The average rose above €800,000 in 2006 – before dipping to €326,670 during the recession in 2012.
