THE GRAND C4 Picasso is the big seven-seat brother of the five-seat MPV C4 Picasso. Both cars are spacious and comfortable and new models have just launched in Ireland.
The new C4 Picasso range boasts a distinctively Citroen front end, with daytime running lights with chrome trim, a wider and lower front bumper and gloss black central moulding.
Around the back there are new 3D-effect lights, which come as standard across the range and there are new chevrons finished in gloss black with a chrome surround.
Two new body paint colours are available, Lazuli Blue and Soft Sand, and there is a new bi-tone option with a black roof available on the C4 Picasso.
Both cars are available in three trim levels: Touch Edition, Feel and Flair.
The new C4 Picasso includes 17-inch Mamba diamond-finish alloys as standard on the Feel trim level, whilst the Grand C4 Picasso features new integrated roof bars and aluminium side profile on the Flair trim level.
There are two new optional driver assistance packages available. Pack One contains an active lane departure warning system, active blind spot monitoring system, speed limit recognition, intelligent beam headlights and driver attention alert. Pack Two includes all of the above as well as active radar-guided cruise control.
On both cars in Flair trim there is hands-free tailgate technology allowing the boot to open by simply waving a foot under the rear bumper.
The latest generation five-seat Citroen C4 Picasso starts at €26,695 for the Touch Edition, which is powered by the BlueHDi 100hp Start/Stop engine with manual transmission. Feel trim models can be had with a BlueHDi 120hp S/S engine with six speed manual gearbox from €30,145 or automatic gearbox from €31,745. The top spec Flair trim model comes with a 150hp S/S engine with six-speed manual transmission priced from €35,545.
The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso in Touch Edition trim starts at €28,995 for the 130hp PureTech S/S with six-speed manual gearbox, €29,995 for the 120hp BlueHDi six-speed manual version and €31,595 for the automatic option.
Feel trim models start at €32,445 for the 120hp S/S engine with six-speed manual or €34,045 for the automatic model. Models in Flair trim are powered by a BlueHDi 150hp S/S with six-speed manual transmission priced from €37,845.
