DONALD TRUMP HAS been stomping all over the debate regarding the Republican nomination for the US presidency in recent times.
He’s topping the polls, rather unexpectedly it has to be said, and his fortunes are in stark contrast to how Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton has been doing – her own campaign stymied by an email scandal that just refuses to go away.
So Clinton took a bit of time out to show her lighter side on US tv comedy staple Saturday Night Live last night, and her stint gave her an opportunity to show off her impression of Trump.
It’s from 3.00 in the below video, with Hillary playing a bartender to SNL’s Kate McKinnon’s own famed Hillary impression.
Not bad at all, although Darrell Hammond’s Bill Clinton, and his dismay at the thought there might be two Hillarys, possibly steals the show.
Both Hillary and Trump were tweeting about the escapade afterwards, with the Donald retweeting a user who approved of SNL cast member Taran Kiliam’s cold open impression of the billionaire at the start of the show.
