Gardaí arrest three after stopping car and finding shotgun and cocaine

They arrested three men.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN arrested three men last night after stopping a car in Clondalkin.

When gardaí working as part of a local operation stopped the car they discovered a shotgun and a quantity of cocaine.

The incident occurred at 6.50pm yesterday at Greenfort Avenue in the west Dublin town when members of the Ronanstown Drugs Unit stopped and searched the car.

The occupants of the car, three men in their 20s, were arrested at the scene.

They are currently detained at Ronanstown and Clondalkin Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939.
