Clonmel boil notice lifted

CLONMEL BOROUGH Council has lifted the boil notice issued earlier this week for Clonmel residents and businesses following concerns that the public water supply had become contaminated. The notice was issued for the Poulavanogue water supply, servicing Clonmel town centre, the Davis Road and Mountain Road area. Following water sample tests and on advice from the HSE, the council says that the boil notice has now been lifted. It apologised for any inconvenience caused by the notice and said that the information line 052 9156160 will remain in operation until 20 August.
