Price Comparison: What can I buy for under €430,000 in Co Clare?

From a modern bungalow in Kilkee to a traditional cottage in Ballyvaughan.

Each week, we profile four of our favourite houses on sale right now (and available to view on Daft) to give you an idea of the type of property you can afford.

This week, we’re taking a look at what’s available around Co Clare for less than €430,000, from a modern bungalow in Kilkee to a traditional cottage in Ballyvaughan.

Three-bed, bungalow, Kilkee – €330,000

Located about three kilometres from Kilkee town, this three bed home in Cusheen spans 172 m² across one floor.  Sitting on about .35 of an acre, the site is elevated and has great sea views. The rooms inside comprise an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, a sun room, sitting room, utility room, bathroom and three bedrooms, one of which is ensuite.

The grounds have been well looked after while providing plenty of privacy as well as parking. The decked patio has been raised to take advantage of the countryside views while the outdoor hot tub adds a touch of luxury, too.

This three bedder at Aughboy spans 189 m² and sits on about .44 of an acre. Built in 1999, the attic was converted in 2004 and then an extension was added in 2008. The rooms inside now comprise a long hall that links to a lounge and the kitchen and dining room that connects to a sitting room through an arch.

Each of the original three bedrooms are on the ground floor with the upper level is now home to two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The rooms inside comprise a living room and a sunroom that runs the length of the house and a kitchen. Two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms complete the ground floor. Another twin bedroom with a bathroom sits one level up.

Outside there’s a wrap around driveway with patio area and elevated garden to the rear and plenty of parking. The site overlooks Galway Bay and Ballyvaughan Village is on this home’s door step, where you’ll find a number of pubs and restaurants.
