The raid was carried out by gardaí shortly after 7.30pm last night.

AN ANTI-DRUGS operation in the north of Dublin has seen the seizure of a drugs stash with the estimated value of €2.1 million.

This action was part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the area. A further analysis is pending to confirm the value of the drugs seized.

In total, the bust seized around 300 kilos of cannabis resin, 8 kilos of cannabis herb and one kilo of cocaine.

The search of the premises in Donaghmede Park, Dublin 13 happened shortly before 7.30pm yesterday evening.

Two men, aged 25 and 52, were arrested at the scene and are currently being held under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at Coolock and Clontarf Garda Stations.

The scene was preserved for technical examination.
