Poll: Would you support the reintroduction of third-level tuition fees?

The sector has a funding shortfall – but should students bridge that gap?

A REPORT PREPARED for new Public Expenditure Minister Paschal Donohoe calls for student registration fees to go from €3,000 to €4,000.

Even that, the report says, would not bridge the funding gap in the third-level sector. The report says that billions is needed in capital investment.

With that in mind, would you be in favour of reintroducing fees for college? Or is free education too important to Irish society and our economy?

We’re asking: Would you support the reintroduction of third-level tuition fees?

Poll Results:

No (11687)
