Passenger dies after car collides with ditch

Gardaí are now looking for witnesses to the incident in Co Kerry this afternoon.

WITNESSES ARE BEING sought as gardaí investigate a fatal road collision that occurred in Co Kerry this afternoon.

At around 2.20pm today, a male in his 40s was fatally injured when the car he was a passenger in left the road and collided with a ditch.

The incident occurred on a minor road between Galebridge Cross and Skehanierin near Moyvane.

Gardaí at Listowel are now appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision.

The driver and a second passenger, who are both male and in their 20s, were taken by ambulance to Tralee General Hospital.

The road is closed and forensic collision investigators are currently at the scene.
