New online comparison tool to show you best phone deals ahead of Christmas rush

The tool was set up by independent regulator Comreg.

THE COMMISSION FOR Communications Regulation (ComReg) has launched a new online tool to compare deals for mobile phones, broadband and TV.

The independent regulator said that, as phones will be on many wish lists this Christmas, this will be a useful way to find the deal that best suits who you’re buying for.

The free tool allows you to filter the deals by price, network, model of phone, contract type, and work out the best option based on your data usage or minutes needed.

Comreg’s director of retail and consumer services Barbara Delaney said: “We understand that every consumer is different, and that their needs and wants from a mobile price plan are individual to them.

This tool will allow consumers to check if they are getting the best value, or indeed to see if there is better value when they are considering switching mobile provider.

You can access the comparison tool online here.
