Concern grows for missing 69-year-old woman

Nora Palmer was last seen near Newry Bus Station two days before Christmas.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have said they are increasingly concerned over the whereabouts of a 69-year-old woman who went missing two days before Christmas.

Nora Palmer was last seen in the area of Newry Bus Station shortly before 1pm on Friday 23 December. She is believed to have boarded a bus to Dublin.

When last seen, she was wearing blue jeans, black shoes and a white fluffy jacket. She was also carrying a blue suitcase.

The PSNI has urged Nora or anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Newry Police Station on 0044 845 600 8000.

Separately, a 27-year-old who had been reported missing in Coleraine in Northern Ireland yesterday has been found safe and well.

Mark Booth had last been seen shortly after 6pm on Monday 26 December in Coleraine.
