2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet, €57,946

The BMW 6 Series convertible is a very handsome car and looks the part with the roof up or down. This 640d model is powered by a 313hp 3.0-litre straight-six turbocharged diesel. It has a massive 630Nm of torque, which makes the car feel fast at any speed in any gear.

2015 BMW 4 Series Convertible, €33,950
The BMW 4 Series Convertible offers comfort, refinement and a relaxing drive whether you choose to have the roof up or down. The folding hard-top roof folds away in about 20 seconds at speeds of up to about 15km/h. Luggage space is usable 370 litres with the roof up and 220 litres with the roof down.

2018 Mazda MX-5 RF, €32,950
If you love the idea of the fun soft-top Roadster but want something a bit more mature and secure then this RF (retractable fastback) model is the perfect car for you. It has a hardtop giving you the security of a coupe when you need it and the fun of a convertible whenever you like. The roof takes about 13 seconds to open and can be operated at speeds up to 10km/h.

2008 Audi TT, €10,950
The Audi TT two-seat Roadster’s super-fast soft-top is well suited to the Irish ‘summer’ as it can close in around 12 seconds at speeds up to 48km/h. So no need to pull over to get the roof up when the summer showers start.
