Teenager shot in the leg in Dublin

Gardaí say that no arrests have been made to date and enquiries are ongoing.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are appealing for information following a shooting incident in the Coolock area of the county.

The incident occurred shortly before 10pm last night at Darndale Park. An 18-year-old man sustained an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.

He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel and removed by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Gardaí say that no arrests have been made to date and enquiries are ongoing.
