Cork farmer airlifted to hospital after farm accident

It’s understood that his injuries are from a tractor related accident.

A FARMER WAS airlifted to hospital in Cork yesterday after being seriously injured while working on his farm.

It happened in Mourne Abbey near Mallow at around 4pm in the afternoon.

It’s understood that his injuries are from a tractor related accident.

The man was airlifted to Cork University Hospital by Valentia Coast Guard.

A spokesperson for the Health and Safety Authority told TheJournal.ie that it will be investigating the incident.
