Man (38) stable after stabbing in Cork city

The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A MAN IS in a stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed in Cork city on Sunday.

The incident took place at 1.20am in the residential area of Croaghtamore Square off Glasheen Road.

The 38-year-old was rushed to Cork University Hospital. His injuries were described as serious.

His condition has since improved, and is now described as stable.
