Poll: Do you find the cost of going to the dentist prohibitive?

The cost for some treatments can vary between counties by as much as €230.

THE COST OF dentistry can vary wildly between counties, a survey has found.

While a standard check-up cost €10 in one clinic in Limerick, the most expensive was in Mayo at €160. The cost for other treatments varied by as much as €230.

Some people might have no problem in paying this much to keep their pearly whites in check, but for others it might be a little too steep.
