Two men to appear in court after a quarter of a million euro worth of cannabis found

The men, aged 26 and 30, are due to appear before a special sitting of Tullamore District Court this morning at 11am.

TWO MEN ARE due to appear in court in Offaly this morning after a quarter of a million euro worth of cannabis was discovered this week.

The drugs were found during the raid on a premises in Clonmore on Wednesday night.

More of the drug was found on Thursday after a vehicle was stopped and searched near Tullamore.

A further €160,000 worth of cannabis was seized during a follow-up search at a premises in Killeigh.

The men, aged 26 and 30, are due to appear before a special sitting of Tullamore District Court this morning at 11am.
