Man due in court after guns and €250,000 worth of drugs found at two Tallaght houses

Three people were arrested during the raid.

A 24-YEAR-OLD man is due in court this morning after a major drugs and weapons seizure in Dublin on Saturday.

Three people were arrested after firearms and drugs were discovered during a planned search of two houses in Deerpark Rise in Tallaght.

Cannabis herb and ecstasy tablets worth €250,000 along with five firearms, magazines and ammunition were seized in the two houses.

Two women in their 30s and a 24 year old man were arrested during the raid.

One woman’s been charged and is due to appear in court later this month, the other woman was released and a file is on its way to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The man has also been charged in connection with the seizures and he’s due before Tallaght District Court at 10:30 this morning.
