Two men in court over north Dublin robbery that was foiled by gardaí

A third man appeared in court yesterday evening in connection with the incident in Lusk Village last weekend.

TWO MEN ARE due to appear in court later today charged in connection with the armed robbery of a shop in Lusk, north Dublin at the weekend.

A third man who is also alleged to have been involved in the armed robbery has already appeared at Bridewell District Court yesterday evening.

Gardaí foiled a robbery just after 10pm on Saturday night after three men wearing balaclavas entered a retail premises in Lusk Village.

The three men are alleged to have threatened staff before leaving with a large quantity of cash.

Gardaí arrived on the scene and apprehended and arrested the three men as they were leaving. No one was injured during the incident.

Two men, who were being detained at Raheny and Clontarf garda stations, will appear before Blanchardstown District court sometime after 10.30am charged in relation to the robbery.
