Two dead after aircraft bursts into flames and crashes

The incident happened earlier this morning.

TWO PEOPLE HAVE been killed in an aircraft crash in the United Kingdom.

The incident happened in the Chigwell area of Essex, outside of London, and saw the light aircraft come down at around 10.20 this morning.

According to the BBC, the aircraft was an eight seater, but only two individuals were on board.

The light aircraft that crashed was a Beechcraft King Air 200.

Road closures have been put in place, diverting traffic near to the affected area.

Essex Police are working with the Air Accident Investigation Branch and a team has been deployed to investigate the incident.
