A 15 foot drop into a roadside fence ... but no-one was injured in this nasty-looking crash

The driver and passenger were both wearing their seatbelts, gardaí said.

GARDAÍ HAVE POSTED the picture below on their Twitter account — as a way of highlighting the necessity of wearing a seatbelt.

No-one was injured in the crash, which happened near the Co Cork town of Ballincollig.

That’s despite the car dropping 15 feet off a roadside verge, and into fence-post.

The seatbelt reminder comes as drivers deal with treacherous road conditions in many parts of the country this morning.

Met Éireann have issued weather warnings for wind, ice and snow — and motorists are being urged to take note of the conditions as they go about their business…
