Woman dies in crash between car and van in Co. Meath

The crash happened yesterday evening at 9pm.

A WOMAN HAS died after a car crash in Co. Meath last night.

The collision happened at Lobinstown, Navan shortly after 9pm when the car the woman was driving collided with a van on the Slane to Drumconrath road.

The woman, who was aged in her her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van was not injured in the crash.

A section of road at the scene remains closed for an examination by garda forensic investigators.
